Our newest flavors of oils and vinegars were highlighted during the Celebrating the Fall Harvest Cooking Demonstration on October 5. Creamy, nutty roasted Butternut Squash oil, Sweet Pumpkinseed Oil, our Sherry Reserva Wine Vinegar and the juxtaposed flavors of Red Apple Dark Balsamic and Gravenstein Apple White Balsamic Vinegars had us wishing for the cooler temperatures of autumn. Come on Texas Weather….we are ALL READY FOR FALL!
Class participants helped prepare easy updated recipes for a classic grilled cheese sandwiches which uses Butternut Squash Oil in place of butter to coat the bread with yumminess and a custard tart tempered with INFUSED Cinnamon-Pear Dark Balsamic Vinegar and topped with Pumpkin Flavor whipped cream.
