Tagine

The Emile Henry Tagine is named for the aromatic Moroccan stew that it's designed to cook. This versatile and handsome vessel features a tall, conical lid that locks in aromatic steam and continuously bastes. This cooks foods in their own juices which layers and creates depth of flavor - a great feature and technique for any type of stew or braised recipe. Made from proprietary HR Ceramic, the tagine is designed for stovetop, broiler, oven, microwave, or grill

  • Made of all Natural Materials. Made in France from high-fired Burgundy clay using Emile Henry proprietary HR ceramic (high resistance)
  • Compatible with all cooktops (induction cooking requires a diffuser plate). Safe for stovetop, broiler and microwave use and is oven safe to 500°F
  • Highly resistant to thermal shock. Can move directly from freezer to oven.
  • Durable, scratch-resistant natural glazes which provide an ultra-smooth, virtually nonstick cooking surface
  • Superior heat retention. Burgundy Clay has superior even-heat diffusion and heat retention properties; it keeps food hot on the table longer.
